Product Overview

Long Range, High Accuracy, Dual Grade laser level for Horizontal & Vertical levelling plus the popular 90 degree site squaring.

Spectra Precision GL622N is a high performance grade laser with two way full function remote control and superior grade, level and vertical plane capabilities. The required grade for each axis is entered via the keypad on the instrument or the radio remote control, RC602N (150m range) with the values displayed on the LCD panel. The grade capability is from -25% to +25% on both X and Y axis.

The GL622N Grade Laser can also self-plumb in the vertical plane, for applications such as anchor bolt installation and curtain walling.

In addition, the User can easily set 90 degrees site squaring.

To avoid interference with any other laser crews on site, or for safety reasons, the laser beam can be electronically blanked out on up to any three sides of the instrument.

The Spectra GL622N can be used with any Spectra Precision (red beam) laser detector. It is particularly suited for use with the larger machine mounted laser detectors for digging or grading operations, whereby the driver can check the grade without leaving the cab. As standard, its supplied with the HL760.

The specialist Spectra HL760 detector offers Automatic Grade Match and vertical PlaneLok:

Automatic Grade Matching. A very useful feature for drainage work. You will need both the HL760 detector (or CR700) and the RC602N remote control.

The remote control menu is used to access the Auto Grade Matching feature and to signal the laser level to scan up or down (in its Y-axis) to find the HL760 detector at its set height. A radio link between the two, enables the laser to be set to the required slope. This is much faster and more accurate than trying to manually set the laser to the required slope.

The PlaneLok function. Using the HL760 (or CR700) detector and the RC602N remote control.

This feature is used to lock the laser beam in alignment with the target point - especially useful for general alignment and vertical cladding applications etc.

  • Ideal for grading and excavating
  • Use for long range levelling operations, up to 800m diameter
  • High horizontal levelling accuracy of +/- 1.5mm per 30m
  • Suitable for general construction vertical alignment & site-squaring
  • Set levels for concrete aprons and roadways
  • Manual grading of steep slopes for embankments
  • Five Year Warranty

Features

Fast setup, minimal training time and automatic self-levelling minimize operating costs and boost productivity.

Highly rugged design and unique patent-pending lighthouse seal protects the transmitter head and glass, offering superior drop and weather protection for reduced downtime.

One-person operation reduces labour costs.

High accuracy: 1.5 mm at 30 metres, for precise measurements on the job.

Temperature-calibrated, high accuracy for consistent performance across larger jobsites.

IP66 dust and waterproof for continual performance in harsh conditions.

Withstands a direct drop of 1 metre or a 1.5 metres tripod tip-over onto concrete.

Ability to be used up to 800m diameter with a detector, makes the unit ideal for small to large projects.

Single-axis slope mode offers fast set-up and grade match to a reference mark for permanent and accurate ceiling slope reference.

Energy-efficient design offers choice of rechargeable or alkaline batteries for lower operating costs.

Long-range, radio remote control gives you quick access to all the laser functions, without needing to return to the laser instrument.

Customizable to your needs with the choice of many Spectra laser detectors.

Detector features

Choosing the right detector ensures maximum performance from the GL622N. The kit has an HL760 or for machine control applications, see the optional magnetic machine control detector, model CR700.

Standard kit with HL760 Detector & Bracket:

The Spectra Precision® Laser HL760 Laser Detector, a highly versatile laser receiver for basic and advanced leveling and aligning applications, is designed for general, concrete and site preparation contractors.

The HL760 is an easy-to-use tool that accurately measures elevations across the site, and is ideal for use with any rotating red beam laser level.

It features a digital readout of elevation that provides a numeric display of +/-50mm to 0.5mm resolution. The readout is displayed on the large front and rear LCD's and shows exactly how far the elevation is from on-grade. Accurate measurements can be made without moving the rod clamp, saving time and increasing productivity.

Selectable units of measurement can be displayed to meet your specific application - mm, cm, ft, in or fractional inches.

A 127mm long pick-up window, more than double the industry standard, allows quick acquisition of the laser beam.

An anti-strobe sensor prevents false readings from any adjacent site strobe lights.

Radio Communication - allows working with another HL760 for long range remote display and monitoring capability. The HL760 also communicates with an LL400HV, HV302, GL412N and GL422N in automatic Grade Match and PlaneLok applications.

This detector is designed to survive tough construction site conditions; it is totally waterproof (IP67) and can withstand a drop of 3 metres (10 feet) onto concrete.

The HL760 comes with a 3 Year Warranty.

Features:

Fingerprint function filters out other lasers.

Reduces rework by allowing remote monitoring.

Increases reliability, accuracy and durability.

No need to go "on-grade" to measure: saves considerable setting-out time.

Digital readout of elevation - not only will high or low arrows be displayed, but the exact distance from grade will be numerically displayed, which eliminates the need to get "on-grade" to make measurements.

Large 127mm reception height acquires the beam quickly and makes it easy to stay in the beam. Anti-strobe sensor stops construction strobe lights from setting off the detector and makes it easier to identify true laser beam signals.

Simultaneous elevation LED's signal in low light levels and over a longer range for easier reading in poor light conditions.

A new CAPTURE function remotely captures and retains a measurement, when the display is difficult to see.

Multiple deadband sensitivity settings, five in all, allows adaptation to meet all your jobsite requirements.

Dust and weatherproof housing withstands a drop of up to 3 m (10 ft) onto concrete for reduced downtime.

Two clamp positions for cut/fill or excavation. Excavation mode puts more reception height and elevation information above grade for higher utilization in digging and staking applications.

Example usage:

Remote grade checking with cable free Remote Display.

Wireless monitoring of foundations and steel erections.

Risk free monitoring of tilt up wall position.

Setting and checking jobsite elevation and depth for:

Cut and fills

General grading

Foundations, forms and footings

Excavations
